Chunky Guacamole

A bright, chunky guac with ripe avocado, lime, sweet onion, jalapeño, and cilantro — no frills, all flavor.

Ingredients

  • ripe avocados3
  • lime1.5 (juice of)
  • white onion1/4, finely diced
  • jalapeño1, seeded and minced
  • fresh cilantro1/4 cup, chopped
  • Roma tomato1, seeded and diced
  • kosher salt3/4 tsp
  • ground cumin1/4 tsp

Steps

  1. Halve and scoop avocados.

    Halve avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.

  2. Add lime juice, salt, and cumin, then mash.

    Squeeze in lime juice and add salt and cumin. Mash with a fork to a chunky consistency — leave some texture.

  3. Fold in onion, jalapeño, tomato, and cilantro.

  4. Taste and adjust seasoning.

    Taste and adjust with more lime or salt. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface if not serving immediately.
