Fresh Lemonade
Bright, balanced lemonade made from a quick simple syrup and fresh-squeezed juice — the only summer drink you need.
Ingredients

Steps
Make simple syrup.
Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Heat, stirring, until sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Cool.
Juice the lemons.
Roll lemons firmly on the counter to loosen, then juice through a strainer to catch seeds.
Mix lemonade ingredients.
Stir lemon juice, simple syrup, and remaining 4 cups water in a pitcher. Taste and adjust with more water or sugar.
Serve with garnish.
Pour over ice in tall glasses, garnish with mint and a lemon slice.
